These, in summary, the Mayor of Montegiordano and his majority, the conditions for what may appear to see a fantastic future, alternative energy, in particular, the photo-voltaic. The Mayor and his advisers to show be in favor of photo-voltaic, but only for those who have the capacity to borrow or invest capital, can profit of a chance of saving. Consequently
arrives on time at the solemn rejection by the majority, within the City Council Montegiordano, held on the 9th of March, the proposal for joining the project "100 Under the Sun Roof." The minority, in disbelief, reaffirms the undeniable result of the realization of it: the resetting of the Enel bill costs by using solar energy storage on the roofs of their homes.
The possibility guaranteed to all people, would facilitate in particular the most vulnerable, who is unable to borrow, those who do not have a stable job, retired, unemployed, single-income families.
This lack of absolute sensitivity by a majority that defines the left and then deny a now widespread opportunities for disadvantaged families, poorer, weaker, leaving the minority councilors, totally amazed. Consider that the project made it real it would indeed an important cost savings, averaging about 900 € a year, which would mean higher income for families.
So the mayor and his majority Montegiordano, everything is feasible only if the third, then understood as an individual, would the opportunity to buy themselves photo-voltaic panels, or, otherwise, patience ... they continue to pay the electricity!
So much for solidarity and even left-wing ideology.
chief minority group points out that the project provided a summary of the zero energy cost of the bill at no charge to the citizen, since the investment, which included the turnkey installation of the photo-voltaic with all the burdens and accessories including the stipulation of an insurance policy against fire and theft, was made entirely from plant installation company which was repaid the contribution of the GSE.
This would allow, especially to vulnerable families, significant cost savings as the energy consumption relative to income produced by a family living with about 1,000 Euros a month, affecting about 10%.
The Mayor, no doubt, knows that in Montegiordano there are many families living with an income below the outlet sample. Approve the project would have certainly helped these families.
On a positive note, which bodes well for the future, get a surprise from the benches of the majority, when, after the intervention of the leader of that minority Introcaso unsuccessfully spent the last words to a majority of disinterested and completely deaf to valid goal the project, took the floor adviser group majority leader of the Socialist Party, Dr. Carmela Maradei.
His speech was well structured and above all honest and objective.
He explained clearly that the project presented by the minority is in favor of third-Montegiordano who could not afford to buy a PV system, stressing that this is a great opportunity for the benefit of vulnerable families.
Then, turning to his colleagues re-establishment of the communist party that has always played the role of defender and protector of the poorest classes, and that at this stage with the facts showed the exact opposite, asking surprised the same reasoning that led to the rejection of a project that traces the footprints of their own political faith. Any attempted
response did not reveal ideas or ideals consistent with the conduct of certain initiatives.
We of the minority group take this opportunity to thank Dr Maradei for its sensitivity and careful evaluation of the proposal, for she put aside the issue of political partisanship to choose freely to act for the good of Montegiordano.
For the minority group that's not a losing battle. We feel while close to the families that unfortunately because of this rejection of the draft '100 Roofs Under the Sun ', non potranno usufruire dei benefici economici sopra descritti, sicuramente a breve si prevede una manifestazione sull’eco-sostenibilità di carattere prima informativo e poi di protesta contro questa maggioranza che vuol essere tutt’altro che collaborativa e fattiva.
